Upon casting this spell, the caster is filled with divine zeal and righteousness. Thus empowered, the caster then delivers each stroke of their weapon with a +1 bonus to hit and damage, with an additional +1 bonus gained at level 11.

Comments: Here I take aim at the other superfluous magic weapon spell (your choice whether to replace Flame Blade or Spiritual Hammer). This replacement spell is intended as a sort of middle ground between the NWN Divine Favor and (Greater) Magic Weapon spells.

Entropic Shield (Abjuration)  [Replacement for Know Alignment]

A magical field envelops the caster, increasing his or her resistance to ranged missile attacks by 20%.

Comments: A replacement for Know Alignment. Inspired by the NWN spell of the same name.

Shield of Faith (Abjuration)  [Replacement for Shillelagh]

Duration: 4 hrs + 1/2 hr/2 levels (8 max)

The caster gains a +1 bonus to his or her armor class, with an additional +1 bonus gained at levels 8 and 15.

Comments: There are three magical weapons in the lower priest spell tiers. Do we really need so many? Flame Blade is the signature one, with its spiffy animation and look. So Shillelagh was ripe for replacing, in my mind. Shield of Faith was inspired by the NWN priest spell of the same name.

Chaotic Commands  [Replacement for Hold Animal]
Level: 3
Comments: You may optionally move Chaotic Commands to the third divine spell tier, which mirrors its location in NWN. Its fifth tier slot is then replaced by:

Slow Regeneration (Necromancy)  [Replacement for fifth tier Chaotic Commands]

This powerful spell enables the priest to imbue one creature with the ability to regenerate health slowly. The affected creature will regain 2 hit points per round. The effect lasts one turn for each level of the caster, or until dispelled.

Comments: A replacement for Chaotic Commands in the fifth divine spell tier. Slow, lasting regeneration.
